All of our tow-bar fits are done to the highest standard following manufacturers guidelines and settings, our own installations are always done using soldered joints into the original wiring, avoiding the use of problematic scotchloc joints which in the long term will fail, soldered jointing is the most reliable connection although this does take longer to perform we feel it is the most reliable.

  We are major stockists of Witter Towbars and Westfalia Towbars. Many people would have heard of Witter towbars but maybe not Westfalia, Westfalia towbars are mainly detachable bars and are original equipment fit to a number of leading motor manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Volkswagon and Mercedes.

  The advantages of using a detachable towbar is that the cosmetics of the rear of the vehicle are maintained when the towbar neck is removed, also if the vehicle is fitted with reverse sensors the operation of these sensor is not compromised by the fitting of a tow bar.

  The Icehouse can also supply and fit electric kits that plug in to the original wiring so as not to effect any operation of the vehicles original wiring and also add extra function, these kits replicate the use of manufacturer original electric kits, some vehicles do need dealer coding for these kits to function correctly.  A full range of towing accessories is also available, such as, bumper protectors, stabiliser bars and Alko fittings.
