The Trident has internal aerials and is covertly and professional installed on your vehicle and does not require any involvement from the owner. The system incorporates a movement sensor, which detects unauthorized movement of your vehicle. If the vehicle is illegally moved it sends a signal to the SmarTrack Control Centre who will in turn call the owner and confirm possible theft, if the theft is confirmed, SmarTrack will begin to track the vehicle live and liaise with the local police. SmarTrack staff are BS7858?ISO 9001 police liaisons. The system is supplied with its own long life battery system. If the battery is disconnected again you will receive a call asking for conformation that the vehicle is safe. Once recovered by the police your asset will be returned to you. This is ideal for motor homes that are left in compounds or abroad most of the year.

Antony, s Peugeot 206 has under gone a total transformation in the last 12 months; a WRC wide arch kit has been fitted with WRC style roof vent all fitted by Ecosse, a Renault Clio interior and TVR Tuscan spider wheels fitted onto custom hubs. The car was resprayed in standard blue paint. When Antony brought the car to us at The Ice House, King Street , Stoke on Trent the audio system had a lot to be desired. Poor cabling and installation was letting this car down. A decision was made to remove everything and start from fresh. Rockford Fosgate equipment was chosen throughout for its good looks and high performance. The system is headed up by an Alpine CDE-104BT head unit. This was chosen for its built in blue tooth, I-pod control and superior sound quality. Front and rear speakers are Rockford Fosgate P162s components up front and Rockford Fosgate Prime R1693 3 way 6×9” speakers into the rear parcel shelf. Powering these is a Rockford Prime R300.4 4 channel amplifier delivering watts to each speakers. Sub bass is take car of with 2 12” P1S412 subwoofers powered by a Rockford Fosgate Prime R500.1 mono amplifier delivering 500 watts. The amplifiers were flush mounted into the floor of the boot Autoleads and Audison connection provided the cabling and Skinz sound deadening was used in vital areas.

Three mono blocks (250, 500 and 1000 watts)and a two (2×180) and four channel (4×80 watts) complete the line up. All amplifiers feature built in active  x-over’s, pre-amp outputs, all mono amplifiers feature remote sub level controls, Hi-mass heat sinks and are finished in a smoked brushed aluminum heat sink.

FLEET MANAGEMENT AND TRACKING
 
 The Icehouse can offer customers a complete fleet management solution for customers wishing to manage one vehicle to a fleet of hundreds.

  The entry system, Roadangel Monitor, to this market will allow the operator to get reports of their vehicles 24 hours a day 365 days a year from the convenience of any internet ready pc.  This system will report to the operator when the vehicle ignition is turned on and off, so at the start of a journey the vehicles ignition is turned on the system becomes active and updates the position of the vehicle every 60 seconds, when the vehicles ignition is turned off this is then logged as a complete journey and from the web page you can see the start position and end position of the selected vehicle, you simply then click on the postcode tabs and a map will come up with your vehicles location.  The system will also give details of a complete journey report for all the vehicles on your system, it will monitor stationary time, out of hours use and fatigue time.  In addition to being a tracking system once all the vehicle details are entered the system will alert you of road fund license renewal, mot renewal, cam belt replacement due and warnings when servicing is due or overdue, from the operators screen you can also see current mileage of all your vehicles.

  The second system, Roadangel Locator, gives all the features of the above system but with the ability to ping a vehicle at any time to get a current location, this especially handy if you business needs location based scheduling, in case of breakdowns or the unfortunate event that a vehicle is stolen.  This system will allow you to enter a post code and select nearest to, this will then show on a map which vehicle is nearest to your entered postcode, especially handy for courier operators.

  The premium system in the range, Roadangel Live Track, gives all the features of the above systems with the addition of live tracking this allows you to see exactly where your vehicles are in real time, refreshed every 60 seconds, from the systems map view you will see your vehicle plotted on the map every 60 seconds, giving you current speed and direction, the system can be set to leave a snail trail on the map to give you information of the route being taken making it easy for you to see if there would be quicker routes or vehicles are overlapping in certain areas. The system gives information whether the ignition is on or off, speed reports for any journey and reports a vehicle for over speed and also idle time.  This system is particularly useful for giving accurate delivery times to customers or times when service engineers may be arriving, protecting high value goods or even VIP’s.

  The Icehouse, based in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, specialise in the supply and installation of  towbars, we fit towbars to virtually any make of vehicle. All of our tow-bar fits are done to the highest standard following manufacturers guidelines and settings, our own installations are always done using soldered joints into the original wiring, avoiding the use of problematic scotchloc joints which in the long term will fail, soldered jointing is the most reliable connection although this does take longer to perform we feel it is the most reliable.

  We are major stockists of Witter Towbars and Westfalia Towbars. Many people would have heard of Witter towbars but maybe not Westfalia, Westfalia towbars are mainly detachable bars and are original equipment fit to a number of leading motor manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Volkswagon and Mercedes.

  The advantages of using a detachable towbar is that the cosmetics of the rear of the vehicle are maintained when the towbar neck is removed, also if the vehicle is fitted with reverse sensors the operation of these sensor is not compromised by the fitting of a tow bar.

  The Icehouse can also supply and fit electric kits that plug in to the original wiring so as not to effect any operation of the vehicles original wiring and also add extra function, these kits replicate the use of manufacturer original electric kits, some vehicles do need dealer coding for these kits to function correctly.  A full range of towing accessories is also available, such as, bumper protectors, stabiliser bars and Alko fittings.
